Raleigh, NC - May 31 The 2010 Tarheel Classic Men's C Division was won by Carolina Fight Promotions after coming out of the Pool Play as the number #7 seed. Four teams go locked into the C Division after the bracket play started on Saturday evening. Last Call, Straight Gas, Crossroads/Overtons and Carolina Fight Promotions. Some of the highlight games from the C Division bracket play came in game #11 between Straight Gas/Crusaders/Reebok and Least Call, with Straight Gas/Crusaders/Reebok prevailing 20-19. In game #12, Crossroads/Overton's battled Straight Gas/Crusaders/Reebok down to the wire and was able to pull out a 17-16 victory.
Carolina Flight Promotions fought their way to the championship game from the winners bracket to play against Crossroads/Overtons. Crossroads/Overtons defeated Carolina Fight Promotions 19-3 to force the IF game. In the IF game, Carolina Fight Promotions defeated Crossroads/Overtons 30-0. Congratulations to Carolina Fight Promotions for winning the Men's C Division.
Carolina Fight Promotions got two (2) Worth BJ Fulk Bats and 15 Embroidered 2010 Tarheel Classic Champions Hats for winning the 2010 Six Game Guarantee Men's C Division.
